How we track
We re-verify MSRP, street price, and SKU availability against each handheld's official store page on the 1st of every month. Snapshot dates appear on every row so you can tell exactly when each number was last confirmed. We never blend dates — a $649 Steam Deck shown today is the $649 we verified on the snapshot date, not a stale number from a previous month.

Twenty years on, PSP-3000 remains the cheapest route into a 4.3-inch widescreen retro handheld. Battery and shell replacements stay in production.

FAQ
Why are some handhelds missing prices?
We only publish prices once a manufacturer confirms them through an official channel. Microsoft's Xbox handheld (Project Keenan) has not yet announced pricing — we update this page the moment Microsoft does.
Where does the price data come from?
Manufacturer store pages first (Valve, ASUS, Lenovo). We cross-check against at least one major retailer before publishing. We never blend sources into a single number — the SKU breakdown column tells you exactly which store each price came from.
How often does this update?
We re-verify on the 1st of every month. The last-verified date is stamped at the top of the page. Subscribe to the RSS feed for change alerts between snapshots.
Will you add affiliate links?
We plan to. When we do, this page will gain direct 'Buy' buttons next to each row. Until then, we link out to the official store page only — no paid placements.
